What is the Nifty Race?
Nifty Race is a sub-game of Nifty Wizards. Buy a Pony and/or a Spectator Ticket and get your rewards! The game is live at https://niftyrace.com/
New players begin by logging in to the niftyrace site and clicking on "Inventory" Any owned Pony or Spectator Ticket NFT's will be displayed here under the "My Stable" tab. Click on each to stake them to the game. They will then be moved to the "Staked" tab.
There are two different games that can be played. One involves placing your Pony in a race and the other involves picking winning ponies.
Races:
Each race has 6 slots. To enter your Pony in a race, go to Inventory/Staked and click "Tack Up" under your Pony. After confirming the transaction you will see a countdown timer for your horse's next race.
There are 8 races per day (one every 3 hours). Pony owners therefore have to "Tack Up" (stake) their Pony prior to each race.
Spectating:
Spectators will have 8 races per day to pick their winners from. This is done by clicking on the "Race" tab and then selecting a Race Session.
The spectator then has the option to pick a single winner (Win) or pick the three Ponies that will finish first, second, and third (Trifecta).
After making a selection, click on "Pick Pony"
If a spectator has more than one Spectator Ticket, they may pick a winner or a trifecta in multiple races.
Staking Requirements for Making Dual Picks in the Same Race
If a spectator wishes to pick both a Trifecta AND a Winner they must first stake 100,000 DUST to the wallet "niftyracecom" using the site dustismagic.com.
Race Results
Results of past races can be viewed by clicking on the "Home" link and then the "Check Record" button for the race(s) they wish to view.
NFT Usage Limits
Ponies have a usage limit of 360 races and Spectator Tickets have a usage limit of 720 races.
Future Plans
A training page is planned where Ponies can be upgraded. Each Pony will have four attributes: Speed, Strength, Endurance, and Agility. It will cost 157 DU$T to upgrade each attribute for a total cost of 628 DU$T to upgrade all four attributes one sub-level.
There will be 10 sub-levels per Level upgrade making the total cost to upgrade to the next Level 6,280 DU$T.
This cost structure will remain consistent through all 10 Levels.

Each Level will have its own race. A Racer will need to own a Level 2 Pony to run in the Level 2 races, etc. The winnings will increase at each level to offset the cost of the upgrades.

After a Pony has reached their usage limit
When Ponies have reached their usage limit of 360 they will be put out to pasture and can breed with one of our studs for a fee.

Ponies must be at least Level 3 to qualify for breeding.
Breeding will function as follows: the foal (baby pony) will be the same level as the lowest level parent. IE: a Level 5 mare and a level 3 stud would produce a level 3 foal. A Level 4 mare and a Level 2 stud would produce a level 2 foal.
Foals will be 85% fillys (female) and 15% colts (male). During the foaling period they will need to be nourished while they grow. Players can pay a WAX fee to nourish their foals or burn an equivalent amount of Nifty Wizards Weed and Beer.

The numbers:
Ponies will have a 16.66% chance of getting first thru sixth.
Ponies will be able to run 120 races per month on average.
360 races total.
At $10.00 per Pony that equals approx. 37,500 DU$T at today's rates.
Ponies will win each position statistically (360 x 16.667% = 59.97) or 60 times on average.
If we mint 500 Ponies and everyone runs every race of the season the potential DU$T output would be 18,750,000 DU$T if no one levels up.
Rates will adjust every season depending on market conditions.
Spectators
Spectators will be able to pick the winner or guess the top 3 positions (Trifecta) whichever they choose.
If they stake 100,000 DU$T then they can pick 1st (Win) as well as a trifecta. 75% of Spectator Pass funding will go to purchasing DU$T on the open market to distribute in the game.
Spectators will need to stake their winnings to advance to higher levels. Each level will have 144 races and spectators will receive 10 xp points per race they participate in.
Once Spectators reach the 1440 xp level, if they have the required stake of 3,000 DU$T they will be able to choose the Level 2 race. Each Level will require the same amount of xp to move forward.
Once Spectators exhaust their Spectator Pass, they will be able to purchase a Premium Seating Pass for Level 6-10, or get a regular Seating Pass and use their current stake.

Spectators will be able to pick 240 races per month on average.
720 races total
At $5 per Pony that equals approximately 17,250 DU$T at today's rate.
Pony Races
If we mint 1000 Spectator Passes and everyone averages very highly in every race of the season the potential dust output is = 19,850,000 DU$T.
Spectators would also contribute 3,750 to DU$T buybacks.
So 17,250 DU$T / 720 = 23.95 DU$T per race on average.
Spectators will pick 1st or 2nd position statistically 120 times on average (720 x 16.667%).
Spectators will pick all three positions statistically 58 times on average (720 x 8%).
Additional races
Once the platform is in operation and generating revenue we would like to have new races, we will use the niftywizards Horse and Unicorn of course, and DUSTMINERS in Carts or something. To help players that are low on WAX, a Horse blend will be available with DU$T, WEED and Beer. To offset DU$T inflation and try and keep it in line with current market prices by offering a longer term, maybe you get 3 or 4 seasons instead of just one.
We could add utility to other collections by allowing them to stake DU$T and we would create a race for their collections NFT's.
