What is an Active Forger?

An Active Forger is a community member that assists the Nifty Wizards community in at least one of the following ways:

1. Consistently engaging with the community on Telegram, Twitter, or Discord.

2. Forge items for members for legitimate reasons (quest rewards or for market sales).

3. Validate quests.

4. Help to answer questions and guide members.

5. Help to promote the game in some fashion.

6. Help to further advance the game.

7. Write and publish articles.

8. Write lore for the game.

9. Inform all other Active Forgers of any foreseeable absences they may have from the game (e.g. vacation, illness, work, grief, pregnancy, no internet, quitting, etc.).

Time Frame required to maintain Active Forger status:

An Active Forger can maintain their status by having engaged in 1 or more of the above activities over a period of 3 months. The number of actions performed to remain active is subject to change. Notice of the change will be pinned in the Forge Room.

Active Forger Removal Process:

The status of Active Forgers is to be determined on a quarterly basis (i.e. every 3 months). There will be a 1-week timeframe in which any member of the group can nominate any other member. At that point, a public vote (i.e. not anonymous) must be initiated as to whether to maintain or expel the member. The vote will remain active for 1 week. After a vote has been called and closed, no other votes will be considered as valid. Best efforts will be made through pings, pinned messages, and Twitter posts to notify all members of any votes. The nominated member can state their reasons for believing they deserve to remain an Active Forger. All sides, points and opinions from members will be treated with respect and ideally with a sense of morality. These opinions should be considered from an unbiased, neutral frame-of-reference. Members can change their vote as they see fit within the 1-week voting time frame.
